of time before a cure is found. They are working around
the clock in the United States as well as internationally towards this goal. The multidisciplinary approach of
these researchers is extremely important in designing
experiments to identify the most helpful therapies for
human treatment. These scientists believe that
biomedical and genetic research will provide the
means to ultimately repair the damaged nervous system.
