This organization, run by friends and family, raises
funds for scientific research for a cure for paralysis.
The majority of our contributions and efforts go
towards clinical research donations (e.g., The
Christopher Reeve Foundation for Paralysis, The
Miami Project for Spinal Cord Injuries). In addition,
we are raising public awareness on how to avoid
spinal cord injuries. The William Heiser Foundation
also helps by supporting the people in our community
who have sustained similar injuries. On a local level
we have provided specialized equipment to several
families of spinal cord injured victims unable to afford
the high cost of this critical equipment.
